Meet the Team

  • Cathlin McKenzie-Larsen

    Founder, Board President & Artist

Hi, I’m Cathlin and I have lived on this beautiful lake with my husband Ken since 2018.
When I moved to this area, I took a couple of classes at the White Bear Center for the Arts, and in 2022 I participated in the member’s exhibit and was blown away by the depth of talent on display there. Inspired by an artist that I know in the Toronto area who puts on an art crawl there, my mind started whirring, thinking that I need to find people around here who might want to do the same thing. And the Bald Eagle Lake Art Crawl was born!

  • Alyssa Boldischar

    Board Vice President & Artist

Hi, I’m Alyssa! I’m a local photographer, designer, and ceramic artist. I’ve lived in the Bald Eagle Lake area since 2016 with my husband, Mike and 3 dogs. My work is inspired by the beautiful nature and wildlife around the lake. When I’m not creating, you can find me with my dogs, rock hunting, or spending time on Bald Eagle Lake - fishing, paddleboarding, or just enjoying the water. I’m thrilled to be a part of this creative team and excited to celebrate year two of the art crawl! I can’t wait to see all the amazing art, connect with fellow artists, and meet the wonderful people who make this event so special.

  • Sharon Neylon

    Board Treasurer & Planning Committee

After a career in Madison, WI and Eugene, OR, of community building, parks and recreation event planning, and social impact, we moved to Bald Eagle Lake to refresh and dive into our new community! I love gardening, travel, reading, and growing through trying new artistic endeavors. Excited to be part of creating this awesome arts event around beautiful Bald Eagle Lake!

  • Carly Ogata

    Board Secretary & Planning Committee

My husband, Max, and I bought our Bald Eagle Lake home in 2021. For 30 years prior, my parents enjoyed their sunsets on the same deck I am writing this. We spent the last couple of years making the house our own and are now ready to sink into our own sunsets. When people experience art, it sparks discussions and leads to friendships, which is precisely what Max and I would like to build with our Bald Eagle Lake neighbors.
