About BEL Arts!
The Bald Eagle Lake Art Crawl began with a simple idea - connecting local artists and bringing more art to our community.
In April 2024, Artist Cathlin McKenzie-Larsen shared a Facebook post asking others interested in creating an artist network around the lake. Several people responded with interest!
Later that month, a small group of passionate artists and art supporters gathered at Caribou Coffee in White Bear Lake, MN, for our very first meeting. From there, a planning committee was formed, meetings were scheduled, and the date was set! September 14, 2024 would be the first annual Bald Eagle Lake Art Crawl. The event was a huge success, featuring over 55 talented artists, crafters, and musicians showcased at homes around Bald Eagle Lake.
With the overwhelming support we received, we knew this had to grow into something bigger. In December 2024, we officially became Bald Eagle Lake Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, allowing us to expand our efforts to bring even more art, creativity, and connection to the community.
We are excited about the 2025 Bald Eagle Lake Art Crawl and can't wait to see how this event grows. Whether you're an artist, a crafter, a musician, an art lover, or a supporter of local creativity, we invite you to join us on this journey. Thank you for being part of our story!
